Aunt Martha and Uncle Matt

We drove to Tulsa last Wednesday to hear David Crowder, but our main goal was to see our most beloved Aunt Mar Mar and Uncle Matt. If you know them then it's a given as to why Elle and Si adore them so much. They don't even have kids(yet)and I take notes every time I watch them love on our children.

well, Silas started crawling this week. that's right, a couple weeks shy of nine months old, young mr. robinson began the journey towards professional athletics. maybe a strong safety or a striker or a point guard or a shortstop, he is well on his way. he is pulling up on everything in sight and already beginning to terrorize his sister by getting all up in her business. just think about how the world would be different if we never walked, but crawled everywhere. knee pads and gloves would replace shoes. the amazing 4 minute mile barrier would be replaced by the 10 minute crawl. finally, everything that is now at eye level would have to be lowered by about 4 feet. all this to say that Silas is crawling! bet he's walking before you can say 'jack robinson.'

Boys getting comfortable...

Sunday, October 16, 2005

You know it's a funny sight...after Church on Sundays, the second they step into the house boys everywhere take off the top layer to get to the comfortable shirt underneath...good ol white cotton. Today after Silas woke up from his nap I set him on the couch to play with Fin and noticed their matching outfits. After I soaked in the sweetness of the father son moment...I of course took a few pics...such cute boys!!! (Do you think they look alike???)

As Allyn and I prepare for cheering on the Hogs at Homecoming...we hit the field for some inspiration and took a few pics of our hopeful hog fans...

Autumn Pumkins

My kids seem to blend in with the pumkins...especially little Silas.
