The Bobcat

Okay, so here I am sitting in a Bobcat at Camp Living Stones out in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. I was on a team that took 60 seventh graders out to serve over spring break. This was my fifth year to go out there and this was probably my coolest job ever. I got to bring bucket loads of gravel for our students to unload. This machine is amazing. It can hold 6000 pounds of stuff up over its head and it turns on a dime! I definitely felt like a man driving this thing. I got really good at the end, going faster and remembering which foot pedal did what. Our trip was a success and our students had some life changing moments. Probably the most spiritually impactful was when the leaders washed the students feet the last night we were there...quite a humbling experience. If you are just dying to see more of what went on check out the Tennessee Blog on Fellowship's website.
