Kidney Stone
for those of you who check this from time to time, thought you might like to know that I (Finley) had a pretty good battle with a kidney stone on Thursday. i had felt it coming on all week, but i guess my run on Wednesday afternoon dried me out enough for the stone to begin its decent from the kidney to the bladder. man was it painful! after about three hours of unrelenting pain, i finally got an IV going at my dad's office in fayetteville and they also gave me some IV pain medicine. i felt better almost immediately. a long nap and three bags of fluid later, i was on the upswing. by women who have had both, a kidney stone pain has been compared to being in labor. wow! i could never have kids. anyway the stone finally passed this morning and boy was it ugly. hope i never have to experience that again. i guess this was God's way of putting me on my back for a little while.
