Easter Eggs
well, elle is beginning to ask about the easter bunny now, and so we are politely playing along. i don't want to encourage it, but don't want to kill it at the same time. i'm totally riding the fence on the easter bunny, santa, tooth fairy stuff. not inherently bad, but probably creates some false ideas about what the day's celebration is all about. i guess we'll have some reteaching to do sooner or later. anyway, tomorrow is easter, so we dyed some eggs. the kids had a great time...

At the Williams house, we think Santa, the Easter Bunny and the tooth fairy are cool, but we love Jesus. I think kids are capable having a little fun with the holidays while still building a love relationship with Jesus.
I wouldn't want to live in a drab world where a mysterious bunny didn't hide hard-boiled eggs and leave entirely too much chocolate.
