well, apparently my kids decided to break out of their usual pattern of life and do some extraordinary things this week. on thursday afternoon Elle started swimming without her floaties for the first time. we took them off and she would swim from the zero entry point of the pool to me about five feet away, doggie paddling the whole time. then today i get word that my son had pooped in the potty for the first time ever. i know that these are only small steps, but they are steps in the right direction as far as a father is concerned. swimming and no diapers, what a week!

we had such a fun time planning and playing at Ambers 28th birthday party on thursday. she had NO IDEA...ha ha ha. kudos to brooke, allyn, and seth for getting it together. of course no robinson blog would be complete without pictures.

What a great August day to be at the pool. Thanks Davis' for letting all the mommies come out and play.

i'm officially inspired as a daddy after watching this girl. i pray my kids will be as willing as she is to memorize God's word. what a challenge to us all!
