Our little Elle is full of the one liners.
On Saturday we went to the new Masons on Joyce to see our
friend Ginny Mooney who was selling her jewelry.

Anyways...Elle and I walked into Masons together holding hands and marveling at the new store. All of a sudden Elle stopped and said, "Mom, this is beautiful". She was in slow motion taking in the chandeliers, massive shelves of shoes and shiny floor.

Ok, story two. This morning when she woke up I noticed she had on a different outfit then what she went to sleep in. I asked her why she changed her clothes. She looked at me seriously and said, "Mom, i got so sweaty in the middle of the night. Everything was wet." She grabbed my hand and took me to her bed...she pointed at the sheets (still very wet) and told me she was so sweaty that even the sheets were soaking. I tried tell her that i think she actually pee-peed in the middle of the night. And then the one liner, "Mom, I'm telling you that is not pee that is sweat!"

My sweet mom found cancer this summer and had re constructive surgery. Now she is going through chemo and losing her hair. She and Elle and I had a good time trying on her wigs.
