well, we woke up to a nasty new york day. we got back late after our date with jennifer garner and actually slept in a while. when we got up the rain/snow mix had just gotten started. we made our way into manhattan on the subway at grabbed a quick lunch at rockafeller center again. we hopped on the bus and headed north towards
"The Met" we thought it would be a good idea to get out of the cold and rain.

the following picture was the highlight of our time at the met. i think we both realized that we don't really appreciate this kind of art. lots of paintings and strange sculptures. as we walked through the museum at airport speed and were passing everyone around us, we realized it was time to leave. this sculpture, however, reminded us our "cutie bootie" silas back home.

basically, after seeing jennifer garner on the first day, today was a bit of a letdown. it rained the whole time, but we were together and are having a really good time.

while brooke read
The Shack at Borders, i went over to the
apple store on 5th Ave. it was incredible! well over 200 people crammed into the store on a dreary new york night. music was blaring, macs everywhere! i researched a dinner spot on google maps while i was in there on one of their 50+ internet available computers and was completely inspired to get a new powermac.

brooke and i both agreed that our dinner tonight was the best pizza that we have ever had. using my father's tried and true principle of eating while out of town, we stopped at
Patsy's which was completely fully of customers. (thanks dad for teaching me that a full restaurant means its good!). we had a great little table next to the window and watched people walk by as we shared an incredible meal together.

tomorrow we are getting up early to try and catch the today show, so watch for us if you can. hopefully we'll get to go see the world trade center site as well. off to bed!
