Silas Jack knows he's a cowboy! All day he rides his stick horse around saying, "Gitty up Harvey...". We celebrated his 3rd birthday Texas style.

Elle and her cousin Stella had a blast at their princess birthday party in December.

finley has really been amazing this Valentines 2008!
yesterday there was a special delivery of flowers on my front porch. i soon realized they were from finley! the note he wrote caused me to sit down on the steps
and just cry. my little silas started tickling me cause he thought i was crying out of pain...ha ha!
then this afternoon elle said she heard a knock at our front door. "mommy did you hear that knocking?"
i said no...but to kill her curiosity she ran to the front door and all i heard was
"hi i'm looking for my beautiful 4 year old daughter who i love very much".
i ran to the front door to see finley holding a single pink rose surrounded by other dainty pink flowers. just perfect!!!
i told him to never do something like that again unless i've got the video camera ready to go!
oh man...i'll hold that memory as close to my heart as it can get.
finley rocks! i know he hates Valentines day...so he did a BIG thing by making his girls feel special.
guess next year he'll have to buy 3 sets of flowers.

Well our time in Orlando has come and gone, but it was an incredible family trip. Even though it is improbable for most, two weeks away and together is something that families should try and do. I will remember the time with my wife and kids for the rest of my life. The drive was incredibly long, but worth it to have our own car and stuff once we got there.

Our week concluded with us going to Magic Kingdom to finish up a couple of rides we hadn't ridden, going to MGM to see Playhouse Disney - Live on Stage, and one more trip to Sea World to see Shamu. We also got the visit the Elleman's who were staying at Disney's Boardwalk Inn. The nightlife was incredible, packed with magicians, singers, and side show entertainers. We also went swimming in the pool and the kids went down the waterslide about twenty times! We are home now, but wanted to post a few of our final pictures...

we went to sea world a few days ago and had a blast. this was a tribute to my mom and dad because of how much they always told me i loved shamu. silas came home with a shamu bath toy and hasn't stopped carrying it around the condo for three days. it is incredible to see how much you can train a dolphin and a whale. we had a blast and the kids now have killer whale stories for the rest of their life, lets just hope they can remember!
