uncle matt...silas knows he IS the biggest man in the universe. we LOVE uncle matt!!!

Silas got the letter P stuck on his finger! it was a very dramatic 20 min as we tried soap, lotion, bread knives...the silly letter would not come off! Finally i used some metal pliers. sounds bad...but it worked.

we took the kids to brooklyn nelson's birthday party a few weeks ago and then on to the UofA pep rally (before the Florida game). elle has definitely been watching a lot of Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance. she is also definitely taking after her mother's giftedness here...

There was Batman & Robin, Joe Montana & Jerry Rice...then there was Elle & Silas. The things that these two come up with blows my mind...here's were I found them one afternoon (I think they were skipping out on cleaning up the living room) but how am I supposed to get on to them after this :)

this one goes out to my mother...who loved to tell me the story about how much i loved to pretend i was a bull rider in the rodeo. now my kids often ask to ride "bullseye" whenever we head out to the trampoline. it does take its toll on the feet, but the fun it generates is always worth it!

Elle likes to keep us guessing...always coming up with some new crazy idea. this one is quite daring, riding the scooter, while imitating mommy...you'll get the idea.

to say that we have a couple of monkeys in the house would be a huge understatement! this video is a little old now because silas will actually hang from the top molding and drop. maybe i'll get to that some day...

okay...so i've been putting this off for a while. we've got some old robinson family video footage that i've been meaning to post. it took a bit of cropping down and rendering, and i'm a bit embarrassed at the quality, but i basically just wanted to get it done.

my goal is to post a new video for the next 7 days and do a little catch up. some stuff is current (like this one of maye) and some are old (say 6-9 months). anyway, i just want to have this a couple years from now to look back on. here we go...!

yesterday our very dear friends Jeremy and Abby got engaged. They went to dinner with their families and left the kids and i with Denver...the golden retriever puppy! YUMMY

this is our newest friend, Norah. She was born at 32 weeks, weighing a whopping 4lbs.
she is the most precious little person i've ever held. and is one of Gods greatest miracles.

the kids and i were inside playing with play dough when i looked outside to see the sun shining through the rain. so i grabbed the kids and we ran outside to see if we could find a rainbow. WOW did we ever! elle and silas were so excited to see the rainbow that God had put in the sky. it also was wonderful to hear my kids tell me the story about how God would never flood the earth again because he had sent the rainbow. they have been studying the story of Noah for several weeks now at church and God gave us a great opportunity to see it in real life. what a great moment with God and my kids!

well, for a split second i thought i was in college again...then i looked around me and i had three kids, weird!!! anyways, the pep rally was so fun. we celebrated B's birthday, allyn and i dreamed of the pom pom days, and elle robinson shook her thang when the pom gals did their dance. yikes! hilarious and scary! we'll post that video later.

this is what our living room looked like a few nights ago. finley took the big kids "camping". i'm pretty sure elle and si thought they won the lottery! finley, you're the best daddy ever!

found a fun new blog the other day with a great idea about how to keep your kids involved in the grocery shopping process. draw pictures of items (think bananas and milk) on the back of your list and tell them to be on the look out. that's a good idea!

those of you who know me well know that i've got a slight infatuation with the baby bottoms in this house. weird i know...but come on...check it out!
