Stephen & Joshua Schafer
Monday Jan 5th was a glorious day! Twin brothers Stephen and Joshua Schafer entered the world.
You might remember last June when Sarah and i drove to Colorado with all our kids (Elle.Silas.EllieJane.JohnEdgar.baby Maye), it was an 18 hour journey. Sarah was about 8 weeks pregnant and Maye was 4 weeks old. We were so excited to find out Sarah was pregnant with twins. We've been anticipating their birthdays for sooo long. Fin and Sarah's husband Abel work together at Fellowship. We love this family so much and have enjoyed watching Sarah's little belly grow for many months. Monday Jan 5 she went to the hospital for a c-section, Joshua was breech. Abel called me and i zoomed up the hospital with camera in hand. It was one of the best days of my life.
**DISCLAIMER: If you are watching this with little kids there are a few pictures of the babies after they were just born...they have some bloody goo still on them...also i passed my camera off to a nurse for the operating room pictures (thanks lisa!)

So, so precious! I can't believe you were allowed to go back there in the operating room! What a blessing. I can't wait to meet them!

Brooke- that was beautiful! I love what a camera can do! You captured so many wonderful things that not even words could ever explain. I also loved the music! She is one of my favs. And I am loving my lens! I am still waiting for your creativity to leak into my camera and then into my brain! :) Great job! I know that is such a blessing to your friends!

Don't have a clue who they are and just dripped tears all the way through that! Will you come take pictures of us?!?! We can be picking our noses but if you take our pictures, they will be the most beautiful pictures we have! Ohhh...such a talented, precious friend you are!
