Valentine's date

so i took elle on a little valentine date yesterday to Marketplace to get a Chocolate Mess. it was really fun and someone stopped me and said i had the prettiest date in the whole room. i ran into my old college advisor who's wife has MS and we ended up sitting right next to them. Elle was pretty amazed at the love the husband was showing the wife. we played go fish and ate chocolate with our fingers...it was really fun. i will say that it took elle a few minutes to warm up to the idea of being in a public place like that with just her dad. she kept saying she was embarrassed. i can't believe she is already old enough to be saying things like that to me! oh well...here's a quick picture i snapped with my phone...

Father/Daughter dates make my heart so happy. My Dad used to take me "out" and on business trips with him and they are memories that will always be close to my heart.
You are a good Daddy!

Finley, your Elle is the cutest thing on the planet. What a fun idea of daddy/daughter dates. I know that Nick can't wait to take our Annabelle on dates when she gets a little older....and a little more teeth!
P.S. Love your blog!
