80s party
Brookie had a little get together with a few people the other night and somehow convinced them all to dress up in their best 80s getup...wow! i can't believe people actually used to dress like this. since i was born in 1980 (finley) i decided to forgo the fashion and instead represent one of my all-time favorite movies: Top Gun. i'm sure this will be great blackmail material in the years to come. the early 90s splatter paint in my parent playroom provided the perfect backdrop for what turned out to be a pretty funny scene.

I am SOO sad we were out of town and had to miss this completely incredible birthday extravaganza. I would have dressed up like Lloyd Dobbler from, Say Anything, with a long khaki trench coat holding a boom box loudly playing In Your Eyes. Love you friend!

This made my whole day...headed to the closet now to whip out that Flashdance cassette.
