this weekend Brooke went down to the pediatric clinic's new well child building to take some pictures for their upcoming advertising. we brought our kids and they got in on some of the action. look out! here comes the Big Green Wall!

during the last snow, fin and the kids tried to build a snowman...but the snow didn't stick. so, they headed to the back yard for some snowy trampoline jumping

Oh man...these two characters are a hoot! Silas and our neighbor D are going to grow up and be the class clowns. We love you D!!! Come back and play

finley was playing around with a new lens the other day and caught a few of the kids after bath time.

daddy and maye are becoming quite the pair. today he looked at her across the room and said, "Hi Maye"...and she waved back at him! daddy also knows he can get her to smile if he tosses her high in the air

our darling Maye Maye took a tumble off our front porch step. she sports the goose egg nicely. (breaks my heart!)

our stinky dishwasher broke again. this time i decided to take a picture of all the dishes it was missing out on. you'll be happy to know it's working again!

Every year my gracious mother in law, Julia, sends my special bff friend and I on a Bday date. Julia watches the kids, 6 total, and sends us away with $$ to spend. Does it get any better? NO WAY! Thank you Julia. WE LOVE YOU! And thanks Amber for being YOU!

Our Aunt Mar Mar is the greatest in the Universe! She remembers every special day of the year. She brought donuts to our house a few weeks ago...twice. Once on Elle's bday and again Si's bday.
Thank you Martha for being so amazing, thoughtful, joyful, beautiful, loyal...could go on forever!

Brookie had a little get together with a few people the other night and somehow convinced them all to dress up in their best 80s getup...wow! i can't believe people actually used to dress like this. since i was born in 1980 (finley) i decided to forgo the fashion and instead represent one of my all-time favorite movies: Top Gun. i'm sure this will be great blackmail material in the years to come. the early 90s splatter paint in my parent playroom provided the perfect backdrop for what turned out to be a pretty funny scene.

elle and silas were bored the other day while brooke and i were packing up some closets in our house. elle decided she was going to do some "editing". we've got a couple of old keyboards lying around and an old broken wacom tablet, so she pulled out a big picture as her "screen" and started editing like mommy. silas, of course had to follow suit, so we were scrambling to make it as even as possible. this is what we wound up with!
